? Lumbar stenosis: Weakness or pain and neuropathic pain in the legs with walking can be of vascular origin or a result of spinal cord irritation by arthritic changes in the spine. If it is vascular it is called claudication. If spinal it is called neurogenic claudication. In any case you are of an age where a workup is warranted.
