How to heal a pulled groin muscle?

Slow activity: Heat the area (such as bath, heating pad, jacuzzi), slow stretching and light exercises, gradually increase activities, rest when it becomes uncomfortable, and use anti-inflammatory medication (such as ibuprofen, motrin, advil, aleve). It can take several days or longer to heal, depending on the degree of injury.
