A member asked:

I have schizoaffective disorder and need methods or preventive ways to stop or recognize my delusions.

Excellent Question: Delusions associated with schizoaffective disorder can be frightening and interfere with one's ability to function. By definition one is unaware that her/his beliefs may be false. If one cannot trust her/his beliefs then learn to rely on feedback from someone who can be trusted. A strong trusting relationship with family, friends, md, therapist, or therapy group can help one recognize delusions.
