Ovulation: It sounds like you are ovulating. Sometimes the ovulation "cyst" can get quite large and cause discomfort.

Infection?: If you are immediately post-menses then you may have a watery clear discharge that is normal. If you are mid-cycle and after ovulation the discharge becomes thicker and tackier. Pain and cramps are not normal outside of the menstrual flow and usually indicate something abnormal is going on for which you should see a physician for evaluation.
