No need to worry: I have never heard of an "overmature" egg and do not believe such a thing exists. You ovulate when the uterus is ready to receive a fertilized egg- whether that happens at day 14 or 21 is ultimately irrelevant. If your egg becomes fertilized it is not overmature but perfectly healthy. Congratulations!

DELAYED OVULATION,: Delayed ovulation does not mean that the egg is over "ripe". Many women conceive on cycle day 21. Your ovulation was delayed that month, for any number of reasons. Dont worry, it is quite normal.
