Your teachers can ad: Radiation safety is a broad topic of medical interest. Radioprotection is routinely practiced by radiologists and radiation oncologists. All you to do is learn about it from your text books and ask your teachers. I would not be that concerned unless you are exposed to any significant degree which is unlikely unless it happens accidentally.
