Likely to work: I will usually give a woman Progesterone pills to start a period. Most women will start it 2-5 days after finishing the medication. A few need more medication to bring on a period.

No: Nothing is 100% sure. Most women with pcos will respond appropriately to cycle control medications. Some do not. Sometimes it takes several attempt with different medications or different doses to find what will work for a particular woman.
