Low: Some series of coronary bypass of whatever number of grafts may be as low as 0.5% incidence of infection. Sternum, incision, or leg harvest sites all have some risk.

Bypass: The risks of an infection after triple bypass relate to the general surgical risks of infection. There is definite risk which is why we go to great lengths intra and perioperatively to prevent surgical infections. Most facilities have a creditably low incidence of perioperative infections, it is almost unheard of presently for the infection risk to be zero however.
