Diagnose: Treatment depends on cause. Is the pain aroused by directly palpating the region that hurts? If so then an x- ray might be indicated. I presume you mean front of thigh. If pain were in back of thigh likely sciatica caused by radiation of pain from nerves next to lumbar spine or pelvic girdle joints. Since pain goes not to foot is probably not lumbar disk problem. See osteopath for diagnosis.
