A member asked:

How to know if you have multiple sclerosis? what are the signs?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fairly simple if : Your presentation is relapsing remitting, with mri's showing lesions scattered in time and space, and spinal fluid showing elevation in oligoclonal bands. Signs and symptoms may be, however, secondary to other illnesses, and you need an experienced neurologist to sort out, but most are well trained in making the diagnosis.
