First try relaxation: You should be able to get some relief. Relaxation techniques, meditation, deep breathing, learning to stop negative thoughts are first-line do-it-yourself helpful approaches. You may need help learning these from a therapist, or a chance to talk about what is causing it. There are anti-anxiety medicines that can help, but usually best when paired with talking and/or cognitive behavioral therapy.

Start w a med: Eval. It may uncover underlying medical problems that need to be addressed. Cognitive behavioral therapy can be quite effective. Psych meds may be indicated. Aim for daily exercise, 8 hours of sleep /night ; good nutrition w 5 servings of veggies ; 4 of fruit per day. Try tai chi, yoga, qi gong, progressive muscle relaxation, deep breathing exercises ; meditation. Take care.
