First try relaxation: You should be able to get some relief. Relaxation techniques, meditation, deep breathing, learning to stop negative thoughts are first-line do-it-yourself helpful approaches. You may need help learning these from a therapist, or a chance to talk about what is causing it. There are anti-anxiety medicines that can help, but usually best when paired with talking and/or cognitive behavioral therapy.
