If it is prescribed: The first step of therapy is to make an accurate diagnosis. Once the diagnosis is made, your therapeutic options should be discussed with your md. For men, the dx/tx has been well established with the consesnus opion being testosterone replacement therapy. For women, low-t isn't considered a DX but hsdd is a dx. Nonetheless, t replacement is off-label and the rx is usually compounded.
