A member asked:

How can i trigger my period in order to start clomid (clomiphene)?

Sure: That is fairly common thing to do. Your gyn will do a pregnancy test and if negative, you can induce a bleed with either Provera (medroxyprogesterone) 10mg x 5 days or a shot of Progesterone in oil (100mg). Bleeding should occur about 3-7 days after the last pill and/or shot but can take up to 10 days. If you do not bleed and not pregnant, Clomid may not work for you and you may have to consider injectable meds.
