Pneumonia: This could certainly be a bad infection....You need to be seen asap by doctor. If x-rays don't show anything and the bloody phlegm continues, i recommend a ct.

Anything: From simple bronchitis to cancer of lung--- in between pneumonia, tuberculosis, bronchiectasis, cystic fibrosis, pulmonry edema etc. Get checked with your doctor. At least you will need an x-ray.
