It depends on how it: The bump could be a number of different possibilities. If it is painless, then it is not likely to be a boil or infection. I do not think it is herpes as that usually will cause a blister , red spots, itching or pain in the lesion. Anything deeper requires close watch to see if it is increasing in size over 2-3 weeks. If it is over 1-2 centimeter or growing you need to have it examined by doctor.
