Swelling?: What do you mean by swelling? Does the tissue come out with a bowel movement? Do you have to push it back in ? Does it disappear when you stand up? How large is this? 1 inch? 2inches? Is there just the feeling of tightening or is there actually something you can feel outside of the anus? Any bleeding? A surgeon/proctologist should do an anal exam. Possible cases include hemorrhoids, prolap.
