Are you eating?: The question is whether you're eating a healthy food plan, along with this intense exercise program ("insanity")? Hair falling out and missing a menstrual period could signal nutritional deficiencies, not maintaining healthy body weight, or possibly having an eating disorder. See your doctor for any concerns.

Don't be extreme: The "insanity" program can be good, but it can also, be, well... Insane. Excess exercise, far beyond what your body can tolerate, can exhaust your adrenals. This can lead to drops not only in adrenal hormones but sex hormones as well (including estrogen) - some of which is made in the adrenals. Excess weight loss and extreme exercise can both stop periods. Congrats on exercise, but be careful.
