Yes: But not the only cause. The loss of blood witth menstruation causes an obligate loss of iron. Iron deficiancy results in a specific type of anemia. Tthere are other vitamin deciencies and medical issues that cause anemia as well. A few simple blood tests can sort this out. See your physician.
