A member asked:

Going to neurologist for daily migraines with dizziness, pressure in head and nausea. what will they look for? what can cause such an increase in pain

Do not worry: I know that head pain often conjures up an image of a massive brain tumor, but more than 99% of all headache and migraine patients do not have structural brain problem. Rather migraine is a hereditary neurochemical reaction to external and internal triggers. The neurologist will examine you and look for bodily triggers such as tmj, neck problems, thoracic outlet syndrome, and provide treatment.

Chronic migraines: It seems like you have chronic migraines. The dizziness can be part of that. I think you should be on preventive medication. Once your headaches are better the other sumptoms get better. Ask your neurologist.
