Avoid alcohol, sweetened juices, soda & caffeinated beverages. Aim for 7.5 to 8 hrs of sleep / night. Hydrate w at least 64 oz of water / day. Calories burned must > calories consumed. See your doctor: Your doctor can steer you in the right direction. You may need to combine exercise with a reduced calorie diet.Your doctor will be able to set you up with a correct dietician in case you have diabetes or need to be on a low salt diet. She will also make sure you are on the correct medications to support this goal and screen you for thyroid, diabetes, or liver problems. Hope you acheive your goal.
