My body has been itching since i was done takng meds for a dog bite. it won't stop someone please help?

Allergic reaction?: Regardless of the cause, taking an antihistamine like Benadryl (diphenhydramine) can help with the itching. Do you have any rash and or hives associated with the itching? Had you ever taken the antibiotic before that you were given for the dog bite? Hopefully this should stop soon. If the itchiness gets worse, you get a new rash or fever, give the person who gave you the antibiotics a call. I hope you feel better.

See internist: You should see the physician who prescribed the antibiotics. In the meantime, you may want to try otc Benadryl (diphenhydramine) and zantac medications to ease the symptoms of itching.
