Be Kind to Yourself: Remember what you put before your sobriety you will lose so sobriety comes first. Take care of your physical and emotional health, rest, eat healthy foods and get enough fluids. But more than that, go to meetings, work with your sponsor, work your steps & be sure you are being real with what is going on in your own head. A day at a time, an hour at at a time, sometimes a moment at a time. Be well.

Join AA: Attending aa meetings regularly will help you through supportive community, and learn healthier ways of living than drinking. You can also contribute to others' healing through your own participation. You'll have opportunity to select your own sponsor as you work the steps of the program too. Aa can provide you a safe place to be heard, to learn, and to heal.
