Treatment helps: There are three medications now available for folks with alcohol dependency. They are called: antabuse, Revia & campral. There are other medications which may help but do not have fda approval. Some names are: buproprion-(wellbutrin), topamax (topiramate) & baclofen. There are no treatments which are necessarily better than regular attendance at an aa meeting. Check out: www.Aa.Org. Good luck.
