Melanin: The "blackness" is caused by a pigment in your skin called melanin. People of african descent simply have more melanin in their skin compared to people of asian or european ancestry. There are cosmetic treatments available from a dermatologist, but they can be expensive. My advice would be to take pride in your unique look.
