New trend to treat diabetes in pregnancy with levimir but i am noticing elevated fasting cbgs in most. should we be using dif fasting standards?

FBS <95mg/dL : Levemir (insulin detemir) is as effective as any other insulin. In pregnancy, some patients become more Insulin resistant and may need more insulin. I will recommend increasing the Levemir (insulin detemir) to get the fasting glucose below 95mg/dl (pregnancy target).
