You developed: Contact dermatitis, allergic reaction to the detergent. Go see your dr for treatment. Steroid cream is the usual treatment.

Rash: Without seeing this it is impossible to clearly diagnose. If in fact this was caused by contact with detergent, a simple steroid cream should aid in healing. If it is something else, however, that may make it worse. Show this to a doctor and have an expert opinion.
