Im 22 weeks preg. my dr said i can take tylenol (acetaminophen) cold/flu. da pharmacist told me no i can't but she said dat i can take robiitussin md. who is right?

Pharmacist.: Do not take any products with sympathomimetics or vasoconstrictive agents in them (like tylenol (acetaminophen) cold/flu). Plain Robitussin is safe - i would avoid dextromethorphan (dm) because it can decrease your respiratory drive which is not good in pregnancy. Hope you feel better soon - and get vaccinated for the flu!
