Atypical: Gastroesophageal reflux disease typically causes heartburn and regurgitation. It also can be associated with difficulty swallowing, sensation food is stuck in throat, and bloating. Atypical symptoms include horse voice, abdominal pain, worsening of asthma symptoms, recurrent pneumonia, and symptoms like you're such as a tightening of the neck muscles. See your doctor to find out more. May need referral to a gastroenterologist or surgeon with experience and antireflux procedures.
