Yes, but.....: Genital warts are caused by an hpv infection - that is a virus, of which there are many different strains, that can cause different infections. While the strains that cause genital warts may not cause other things, other strains of hpv can cause cancers. In men, penile cancer, throat and mouth cancers. In women, cervical cancers. You can also infect sexual partners, so please use condoms.

No association: There is no tie in with genital warts & pin worms. Untreated genital warts can become quite large & uncomfortable or they may disappear & hibernate within the skin & return later. Freezing with nitrous oxide or liquid nitrogen, laser ablation, or chemical destruction are uncomfortable but effective methods of treatment.
