Unlikely: Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) generally works for 3 months to prevent pregnancy. Its most common "side effect" is amenorrhea or no period. Most women on Depo-Provera do not have a period. Some will have intermittent spotting. Few have regular periods while on Depo-Provera provera.
