Saline Solution: Depending on what you are doing with the saline solution, it may or may not have to be sterile. If the solution must be sterile, you will likely need a doctor's prescription. If the saline does not have to be sterile, ask your pharmacist. Once you know the strength you need, your pharmacist should be able to give you a "recipe" for preparing it at home with table salt and water.
