Cover up age spots..: The most effective way I have found to cover up dark spots or age spots is to use a mineral powder like colorescience skin bronzing primer followed by a color matched pressed mineral or loose mineral powder. There are great treatments available to significantly improve or resolve age spots as well. Intense pulsed light (ipl) is one effective modality.
