You can't: Once scar tissue is formed it is not going to go away. Scars go through a maturation process that can take up to a year in which they become less red, flatter, and softer. Some individuals tend to form hypertrophic scars and this can be a real problem. No one treatment works best. Application of a gel pad and massage can help, but you may need to see a plastic surgeon.
