Emotional/physical?: Are you referring to emotional or physical maturity? Emotional maturity does nit typically effect breast maturity. Generally speaking the breast is usually mature by 18 years of age in most women. However, weight gain, endogenous or exogenous hormones ( menopause/pregnancy or birth control pills) , etc.

Because u r a woman: Most women have some amount of breast size discrepancy. This is normal and not automatically a problem. Some women have such a big discrepancy that cosmetically, it causes them personal concerns and anxiety. If this is the case, you may wish to consult with your physician to look into treatment options.

More glands and fat: One breast formed more glands (allowing for more milk engorgement) and fatty tissue, so ended up bigger than the other. If a woman's breasts were always equal in the past, and one recently got bigger, she should have the doctor examine the breasts to be sure that there is not a more serious problem going on, such as a tumor.

Ace-wrapping chest: Binding your breast means taking a long wide cloth and wrapping this around your chest tightly. You could also use a wide ACE wrap. This is done in an effort to soothe the discomfort from engorgement during weaning.

Wrapping your breast: Breast-binding used to be recommended as a way to help decrease milk supply or help with engorgement. It involves tightly compressing your breasts. It is not recommended as it can lead to mastitis and blocked ducts and other complications. The way that milk supply is decreased is through a hormone feedback system, not compression, and so binding should be avoided.

Duct blockage: If you have a very hard area on your breast it may be a duct that is blocked. This can happen if your breast has not emptied fully during/after a feed. Try a warm compress and some Ibuprofen can be helpful as well. Continue breastfeeding/pumping to allow for continued release of milk.

Normal engorgement?: In the first week, it is not uncommon for mothers to develop engorgement of the breasts as your milk is just coming in. Another possibility is that the milk ducts may be blocked. Try a warm compress and massaging if you feel any hard lumps, and then express some of the milk. This may help to alleviate your symptoms.
