I have a wound culture come back with pneumonia growth? how is the possible?

Pneumococcus: There is a bacteria called streptococcus pneumoniae. That may be what was isolated from the wound culture, although that would be somewhat unusual. What the culture growth was describing was not a disease process but the name of the organism.
