Implanon: Your implant is effective at what it does, but is well-known for being associated with abnormal bleeding, which can be lighter than normal or, in your case, heavier and irregular. The implant is said to be good for 3 years - i don't know how long you have had it, but if you want more regular "periods, " you might want to discuss your options and alternatives with your gynecologist.
