Good alternatives: I strongly agree that removing your gallbladder should be the last resort rather than initial treatment.I've had many patients have great success with natural therapies to dissolve gallstones & flush them out of the liver/gallbladder. Acupuncture & chinese herbs can help too.See http://www.Townsendletter.Com/july2011/momiracles0711.Html &the amazing liver and gallbladder flush by andreas moritz.

Consider surgery: If you truly have biliary dyskinesia, then your gallbladder is not functioning properly probably resulting in pain in the right upper part of the abdomen or upper mid abdomen, especially after eating. It is not life-threatening, but can be quite bothersome. Dietary manipulation (e.g., avoiding fatty foods) may help. Surgery -- a laparoscopic cholecystectomy -- is the definitive treatement.

Biliary Dyskinesia: Cholecystectomy is rapidly becoming the treatment of choice. A meta-analysis examined five studies, with cumulative data in 274 patients showing 90% symptomatic relief with operative treatment vs. 32% symptomatic relief in nonoperative treatment arms. If you are, however, willing to try a lifestyle approach, start with this: http://www.Livestrong.Com/article/546563-gallbladder-dyskinesia-diet/.
