Constipated baby: Introducing solids &formula will change the stool consistency, add some baby apple/prune juice to ur baby's diet . U may also feed stage 1 babay ajr vegetables. Does ur baby take any h2o? If all these dont help u may try some mineral oil 1 teaspoon once a day to ease the passage of stools.U should talk to ur pediatrician if nothing helps.

Apple & prune juice: This is common. Try to avoid high intake of the natural constipators: rice cereal/applesauce/bananas and use the natural loseners in concentrated apple juice or prune juice.1-2 oz 1-2x/day will loosen up most babies but it takes a few days.
