Lymph node : It sounds like you are feeling a lymph node. You will need an exam to confirm this and to make sure it's normal.

Depends: Sounds as if you have an enlarged lymph node which may be in the inguinal chain or the femoral chain of nodes. These nodes enlarge due to their fighting inflammation in the area and should resolve within a month or two as the cause for their reaction recedes. If it persists, see a doctor.

You may have: Follicultits and a subsequent boil (skin infection) or possibly a bartholins abscess if at the bottom entrance to the right or left. Consider seeing you doc. Gd luck.
