A member asked:

Dermatologists: currently, what is the most long lasting proven filler for deep forehead wrinkles that doesn't result in nodules under the skin?

None: The forehead is a very problematic area and the use of fillers in this area is always associated with the possibility of nodules. There are no perfect fillers, but this is an area that is a real challenge.

Weaken muscle first: When dealing with horizontal forehead lines, it is recommended to first weaken the forehead with some botox. The wrinkles are caused by active muscle motion, so even if you put filler in there, the lines will still show because the frontalis muscle can contract. First have your forehead injected and wait until the Botox works. Then you can use a softer ha filler like belotero or juvederm ultra.
