A member asked:

Does a dry throat while walking indicate a cardiac issue for someone with a stent?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Dry throat: Dry throat while walking probably not. But neck or jaw discomfort while walking may be anginal equivalents related to compromised cardiac blood flow. You may need a stress test or further anti-anginal medications. Talk to your cardiologist about your symptoms, a stress test and anti-anginal medications. You may need short acting nitroglycerin, like the ones that dissolve under your tongue.
