Be sure of dx: If you've never had a cluster headache that seemed to be coming from teeth, don't assume it's cluster; it might truly be a dental problem. Some clusters respond to sumatriptan and other triptan drugs. If you have frequent clusters, you need a close working relationship with at least one provider for this problem. The pain of clusters can be horrible and you may need frequent adjustments in rx.

Man, if it's horribl: U need to get seen. You then need to remove every trigger for a headache. Sinuses clear with nettie pot and flonase, make sure you dont clinch or grind your teeth at night (clonazepam good med there) or have insomnia, mood issues. Topirimate 50 mg at night has worked wonders for many with migraines, not sure in cluster headaches. There has gotta b a way 2 get those under control. Hang in there.
