A member asked:

What is the nerve supply to the heart?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Heart nerves: The nerves to the heart are primarily symptathetic and parasympathetic system nerves. They come from the medulla in the brain and the cervical and thoracic ganglia in the spine. The nerves extend to the sinus node, the myocardium and the vessels in and around the heart.
