Practice relaxation!: It's normal to worry over health issues, but making sure that we are receiving the proper medical treatment for the condition will decrease feelings of anxiety. Also practicing relaxation techniques like deep breathing or yoga, and exercising, will help in the control of these symptoms. If anxiety feelings become overwhelming the person should seek help from a mental health professional.

Intertwined issue: Certainly there is a vicious cycle of real heart disease-anxiety/depression- stress and chest discomfort.I would suggest that you ask your cardiologist about anti-anxiety medication and most importantly, psychotherapy with CBT ( cognitive behavioral therapy )- will be exceptionally therapeutic.
