No: Acupuncture provides only temporary relief. It works similar to the concept of purposely promoting pain in one area to block pain impulses in another area. It's only fascinating because of the whole concept. Myotonia is an abnormality in the electrical conduction system in the region were the nerve meets the muscle. It may provide brief relief at best.
