Protection: Can be done with pillows/padding to remove the pressure sore spot from any weight bearing while being careful to not create a new one. Frequent repositioning, sometmes a protective dressing (like duoderm) can be applied. Wound care nurse consult can help. Plastic surgeon if severe.
