No such entity: Historically, it was the name given to a rapidly fatal illness first described in england and later in continental europe in the 15th and 16th centuries. A viral cause, possibly a hantavirus, is hypothesized. No similar cases have been described in over 400 years. Could you mean "serum sickness"?
