No meds, veggies: While breast feeding, you would not want to use medication to lose weight. Best to focus on healthy foods that your baby will get through your milk. Think veggies, protein, and some wheat grains.

WEIGHT LOSS: It is a bad time to eat less food or calories when you need more for breast feeding. Your food intake must be high in protein, plenty of fruits and veggies and less carbohydrates. Exercise helps but no rx to take.
