Probably not: Merkel cell is much more common as one gets older, at 34 this would be unlikely. It could be another form of skin cancer, however. Any non-healing lesion that has lasted for months absolutely needs to be examined by a doctor and possibly biopsied. There is no reason to put this off any longer.
