I'm afraid of getting my throat swabbed. i have been coughing sneezing and a low fever how do i tell them not to swab my throat because it isn't strep?

May need to have one: Unfortunately you can not be sure it is not strep throat without the defrinitive answer of the throat swab.However if your throat appears to be normal, maybe you will not need one.And done properly, there should be minimal discomfort.
